As many of you know, Emma was scheduled to have her heart surgery today. Well, typical of many kids this time of year she got sick. Yes, I tried my best to keep her healthy, but someone else picked up this tummy bug and brought it home!! So, the surgery has been post-poned until next Wednesday. Tuesday she will have all her pre-op done at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and then the surgery on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM. Please keep her in your prayers and we will keep you up to date on the happenings. Here is a photo of her yesterday, poor sick child.

Oh no.. I'm sorry there is a delay. I know each day of waiting is just that.. another day to worry. Maddy is scheduled for surgery on Monday to repair the scar left from her heart surgery done in China. We have been battling a cold now for 6 weeks and 2 weeks ago her ear drum ruptured and is still draining to this day. However, she had her physical done today by our family doctor who said she should still be ok to have the surgery. I hope we can keep her well at least until Monday. I'll be praying for sweet Emma next week and the weeks to follow!
Praying God will hold Emma in the palm of His hand while doctors repair her little heart!
